Plus Capital Management Pty Ltd is a successful third party marketing business started by Neil Wild and Michael Dorph in Australia in 2008. Since then, we have raised over A$7.5 billion for our global equity manager clients.
Our role is to introduce world class investment management firms, who are not currently represented in Australia, to Australian institutional investors and their advisors.
The key differentiating feature of Plus Capital, and the reason for its name, is the way we deal with clients. We believe investors are concerned about absolute positive returns.

Plus Capital’s approach is to bring world class investment managers to Australian institutional investors.
We recognize the significance of asset consultant ratings and relationships, the latter being all the more important as many superannuation funds internalise their investment functions. Plus Capital’s primary marketing strategy will be that of leveraging the personal relationships its principals have in the institutional investor community. We have demonstrated success in working closely with superannuation funds and fund of funds at the senior management level, together with their asset consultants, to gain access to market share. Since commencement in 2008, we have raised over A$7 billion for our most recent client, a global equity manager.

Plus Capital Management Pty Ltd is the partnership of two experienced finance industry professionals who have known each other since the early 1990’s.
Neil Wild – Partner
Neil is CEO and Head of Marketing for Plus Capital. For the six years prior to starting Plus Capital in 2008, Neil was responsible for marketing the Pioneer Investments range of hedge fund, global and emerging market equities and fixed income capabilities to institutional investors in Australia and New Zealand. Preceding this, Neil was a third-party marketer for a number of hedge funds in Australia, and before that his primary role was structuring and marketing for various international banks.
Michael Dorph – Partner
Michael is CIO of Plus Capital. For four years prior to starting Plus Capital in 2008, Michael worked at Westpac as Head of Trading, Equity Derivatives where he was responsible for pricing and risk management of structured equity and hedge fund businesses for both the wholesale and retail client base. Before that, Michael had worked as a trader/structurer in financial markets for over fifteen years in Tokyo, New York and Sydney.
